Lucy ♥ aka Goose

This post is mostly for Jared & me. We had to make the tough decision yesterday to have our dear Lucy cat put to sleep. I think we have both been crying ever since. We talked about all the things we already miss about her & the list is very long. She was a very important part of our home & her absence is very noticeable. She was my shadow that was always there to keep me company & I miss her more than I ever thought possible. I have so many pictures of her & have only picked out a few to put on here. I really hope to be with her again someday.

The picture above is one of my favorites. I had just taken the sheets out of the dryer & set them on the bed. Not long after I found her like this. Quite the little stinker.

My boys are getting older

Jared celebrated his 29th birthday. We celebrated with his family then celebrated the New Year with friends.

Emmett is 2 months & had his vaccinations. He did so good!

Here are the results

11.46 lb = 45.67 percentile

23.5 in = 73.07 percentile

We took him to Sacrament meeting since we knew he'd just sleep in his car seat. Too bad nobody got to see his cute outfit thanks to Aunt A :)

Rolling & not too happy!

Jared wanted to give him some tummy time but he wasn't happy & kept rolling over. He normally likes being on his tummy but he was overly tired.

Week in Paris

I was able to spend the week before Thanksgiving at my parent's house. It was nice to have a change of scenery & the extra help so I could rest.

Emmett hanging on for dear life. I looked down & he had this grasp on my scarf. Yes I look tired because I most likely am.

We got our tree pretty easily this year. It didn't take long & it looks great in our home, now it needs to be decorated.

I love the look Emmett is giving his cousin Zoe.

Our Weekend

We took Emmett to meet Luke, Brady, & Easton. The twins were pretty cute & excited to have another baby to see.

This pretty bird sat outside our window for several hours Sunday morning.

If only he would do this at night!

We had a fun weekend & really enjoyed our little boy.
