Jared & I went on a Sunday drive to the Paris airport and decided to drive through the bird refuge also. It turned out to be really pretty with the rainbow and the neat clouds.

Jared and I found some interesting creatures on our tour through the Bear Lake bird refuge. He's so cute! 
This was the first thing we saw when we got out of the car. It hopped and scared me.

Here is a moose Jared and I woke up 
to a couple weekends ago at the cabin. We stood directly above it on the deck and it didn't know we were there!
Later on it spotted Jared and got scared away but came right back and was more on guard.
Another friend we found was this little fish in the lake. We saw a lot of big fish but Jared couldn't catch any of them......thank goodness.
We didn't really plan how we were going to clelbrate our anniversary but we ended up having dinner at Sundance after a day in Salt Lake. It was delicious with the best dessert ever!

Meg & Aus got to draw a picture about what Bear Lake meant to them. Austen's is on top and Meg's is on the bottom. Too bad the wind was blowing.

Derek and Chelsea, who are living in Eugene, OR, were able to meet us in Seattle! Tim took us on the Fairliner out on Puget Sound and under the Narrows Bridge. We stopped in a town called Steilacoom and had lunch then headed back. We saw a lot of Seals on our way there.
You can see the Narrows Bridge in the background. It was a cold but beautiful fun morning ride.

We went to a Seattle's best coffee shop and got some yummy hot cocoa. You can buy a professional picture of this scene at the market. I always wondered where this cup was and we found it.

Next we went to the Paris Spring and it was beautiful and green. Tons of mosquitos though.
