4th of July 2012 & more

The boys waiting for it to get dark so the fireworks show can begin.  I tried to get them to all sit but it was impossible.

Then Wyatt was pulling goofy faces for me.

We ate Yummy carmel popcorn during the noisy fireworks.

Emmett was playing with London's hair while she was playing games on the phone and she said "thank you for not pulling on my hair too hard."  It was so cute.

These two disappeared for a bit and I found them just like this.  Hilarious!

Other than a firework nearly hitting me in the head, it was a great 4th!

MORE WASHINGTON

Ferry Ride.  It was a bit chilly but so much fun.

Emmett found a little friend and they would run from one side of the ferry to other over and over.  He loved it!

Enjoyed a lot of outdoor time in the nice weather.

Surviving another kayak ride.  Too bad the lifejacket isn't more comfy.

He loved going out on the boat.  Such a cutie.

Part 3! Mariner's game & Ivar's

We were so excited to take Emmett to a Mariner's game.  We ate sweet potato fries & hot dogs. Yum!

Washington Part 2

More fun times on the boat!

We visit Owen beach every time we are in WA.  It's a fun pretty place where we can get close to the water.

We had a timed canoe race between all the couples.  I believe we took 3rd place.

Took the kids to the zoo one day and of course Eli had a blowout on the way so luckily we had one of Emmett's sweaters for him to wear.

Fun day at the zoo but we had to leave to make it to the baseball game.

Washington Part 1

Our drive to WA this year was pretty successful, even with 2 little busy bodies.  We were thankfully able to borrow the van which allowed Emmett to watch his video while Eli watched Baby einstein on the iPad.

  

We slept at our usual place and went swimming after we got there.

I bought some dollar store prizes for and when Emmett was good for a long period of time he could open one.  It worked great!

Another traditional stop is Miner Burger in Yakima.  The best part is the outdoor eating area is a great area to get some energy out.  Emmett kept going over with another family and sitting with them.  He's such a social bug.

We went the scenic route and could not believe how much snow was still there at the end of June!

AND WE'RE HERE!!!

While there we were able to golf several times and Emmett came once.  He's a great caddy.

Emmett LOVED the boat and went with anybody that took the boat out.  Eli was not a fan of the life jacket.

One boat ride put this boy right to sleep and he stayed asleep for quite awhile.

One of my favorite things is taking the Kayak out.  The boys had fun too as long as we didn't go for too long.

Always fun to see little ducklings too.
